A joyful paddle with a meaningful purpose
This lighthearted gathering brings us together to celebrate fall, the full moon, and Halloween while helping address the serious issue of sexual violence. A portion of the event proceeds will support survivors through an organization, which we’ll announce soon.
Come with friends, bring your partner, or come on your own. We’re hoping for a beautiful moonrise—and some great witchy photos along the way.

Before you arrive
Bringing an inflatable board? Arrive early enough to pump it up and be completely ready for our 5:30 pm group launch.
Bring your witch hat, water, and comfortable paddling clothes. Costumes are encouraged; choose something that lets you move freely and wear your life jacket properly.
No experience is necessary.

Do I need paddleboarding experience?
No experience is required! Whether you’re new to paddleboarding or already love getting out on the water, you’re welcome to join us.
Is this event just for women?
Everyone is welcome—all genders, partners, friends, and families! Join us to celebrate fall, the full moon, and Halloween together.
Are there age restrictions?
All ages are welcome.
Can I bring my own paddleboard?
Yes! Registration with your own board is a $10 donation. If you’re bringing an inflatable, arrive early enough to pump it up and be ready to launch at 5:30 pm.
Can I rent a paddleboard?
Yes! The $40 event option includes a paddleboard rental, with a portion of the fee going toward the event donation.
Do I need to register in advance?
Yes. Advance registration is required for everyone, including those bringing their own boards. Please select the option that matches how you’ll join us.
Where and when do we meet?
Meet at 5:00 pm at 190 Taft Drive on Lido Key in Sarasota. We’ll launch together at 5:30 pm and return to land by 7:00 pm.
What should I bring and wear?
Bring your witch hat, water, and comfortable clothes suitable for paddling and getting wet. Costumes are encouraged! Choose something that allows you to move freely and wear your life jacket properly.
Do I have to wear a costume?
No—come as you are! A witch hat adds to the fun, but costumes are optional.
Where will the donations go?
The event will benefit an organization supporting survivors of sexual violence. We’ll announce the recipient soon.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely! Come solo, bring a friend, or gather your whole crew. This is an evening for connection, moonlight, and Halloween fun.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before the event begins to receive a full refund.
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
If SURFit cancels because of weather, we’ll offer a makeup paddle or issue refunds. We’ll contact registered participants with any schedule changes and next steps.
