More Opportunities to Paddle

This tour starts at Turtle Beach on the South end of Siesta Key.   We start on the intercostal and paddle down a short canal to the mangrove islands of the Jim Neville Preserve.   This is such a beautiful place to paddle, with twists and turns around the mangrove islands.  At the mid-point of the tour, we stop at Midnight Pass Beach, which boasts some of the most remarkable shelling in the area. This beach is only accessible by boat so we may have it to ourselves.  Such a beautiful place for a quick swim or just stopping for a few moments to relax.  On the way back, keep your eyes open for lazy manatees,  frolicking dolphins, or hunting seabirds.

Relax as you are guided through winding tunnels cut through the mangrove tunnels of Ted Sperling Park on South Lido Key, minutes from downtown Sarasota.  Wildlife abounds on this paddle–interesting birds, fish and invertebrates. The bay is an ideal location for exploring the open water and looking for manatees and dolpins.

Paddleboard, Surf and Beach camp is all about fun!  Classes are led by certified lifeguards.  Lots of kids sign up for more than one week because it is just so much fun to paddleboard and surf with our coaches.
