Quick Details
This is a fully hosted, small-group, multi-day paddling getaway based in Crystal River, Florida. Over four days we’ll explore three iconic spring systems—Crystal River, Silver Springs, and Weeki Wachee—and include a snorkel tour in Crystal River. The vibe is “adventure travel, but comfortable”: you’ll have a private room, meals are handled (with one free evening to explore), and we take care of the transportation, gear, and launch logistics.
Exact timing may shift slightly based on weather, water conditions, and wildlife activity.
Days are active but not rushed. We’ll be on the water for several hours with breaks, photo stops, and time to take in the scenery. Mornings are straightforward (breakfast, load up, go), midday is a packed lunch and a reset, and afternoons are about finishing strong without pushing pace.
Because we handle the gear, transportation, and launch logistics, the experience stays simple: you’re not figuring out shuttles, parking, or where to be next. Evenings are relaxed—one hosted group dinner, one free night to explore Crystal River, and plenty of time to unwind.
This trip is perfect for those with some paddling experience but it is not considered to be strenuous. Your guides will mostly be using stand up paddleboards but participants can choose between single kayaks or stand up paddleboards.

DAILY ITINERARY
-
You’ll fly into Tampa International Airport (TPA) and meet the group for the included 1:00 pm pickup. If you need a later arrival, we also offer a 5:30 pm pickup option ($100 per person, limited seats). From there we’ll head to Crystal River, check in at Crystal River Plantation Resort, and get you settled into your private room.
In the afternoon, we’ll ease into the trip with a welcoming paddle in Crystal River. This area is famous for its spring-fed clarity and calm water, and it’s one of Florida’s most iconic places to be on the water in manatee country. Depending on conditions, we may explore clear-water pockets and springs and keep an eye out for wildlife like manatees, fish, and birds.
As the sun drops, we’ll gather for a relaxed welcome social with food and two drinks included. This is where everyone gets to know each other, we walk through the plan for the next few days, and you can settle into the pace of the weekend.
-
After breakfast, we’ll head to Silver Springs—and this is where the fully supported part really shines. We handle the transportation and all the equipment logistics so you don’t have to think about shuttles, launch coordination, or moving boats.
Silver Springs is one of the most unique paddles in Florida: a spring-fed river with crystal-clear water, lush scenery, and a steady stream of wildlife. It’s common to see birds, fish, and other river life, and the area is also known for its famous monkeys. We’ll paddle at a steady, supportive pace with plenty of breaks, and you’ll have a packed lunch included so we can stay out and enjoy the day.
That evening we’ll return to Crystal River for a hosted group dinner at a Crystal River favorite—a great chance to swap stories, share photos, and relax after a big day on the water.
-

Saturday is our “soak it in” day at Weeki Wachee. After breakfast, we’ll head out for a paddle that’s known for being especially beautiful and serene—clear spring-fed water, peaceful scenery, and that calm, floating-through-paradise feeling that makes people fall in love with Florida springs.
We’ll keep the day comfortable and unrushed, with a packed lunch included and plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. This is the day many guests describe as the most relaxing paddle of the trip.
Saturday evening is intentionally left open: dinner is on your own in Crystal River. It’s a great opportunity to explore local restaurants, have a quieter night, or turn in early.
-
Sunday morning is our grand finale: a snorkel tour in Crystal River (included). Crystal River is famous for its clear water and spring-fed habitats, and snorkeling offers a totally different perspective than paddling—especially in manatee country.
After snorkeling, we’ll wrap up the trip and head back toward Tampa. We’ll share the expected return timing with guests based on the snorkel schedule so you can plan flights accordingly.
